somehow it is good movie. it's not the best movie i've ever seen though :p. what i like from this movie are all the sets where it took place. it reminds me of the good old days. *why the old days always seem good anyway?* ui was my university, everyday i walked around the lake, and sometimes i walked through it to get to my campus *there were a time when not one tiny drop of water can be found in the lake, just believe me, it happened :d*. depok was the place where i'd call home. and mega kuningan was my playground at the office hour. i've spent most of my time several years back on all those places.

the story is pure fairy tale i would say. it is about girl, neyna (ladya cheril), who represent the princess in that story. accidentally she met her childhood friend when she entered college in jakarta. but things had change, grey (ariyo wahab), was not the same person who neyna known ever since. grey transformed into someone that she'd never think of. but you know the end of story right ;). there's a lot of things which made grey into the person who he was. his family, friends, and condition in such big city like jakarta were part of the problem.

in the cover of the cd, you'll find comments about this movie. some of them said they liked it because the smart dialogues (baca: dialognya mengalir cerdas) which spread all over the movie. after watching it, i kind of agree, eventhough not absolutely 'cerdas' but it's not bad lah hehe. maybe here are what they refer to smart dialogues:

scene 1
keyko: *dengan nada kesal* temen itu seneng bareng jatuh bareng
neyna: *dengan polosnya ngerespon* kalo dua2 nya jatuh, siapa yang bantu angkat?

scene 2
neyna: *dengan wajah senang, ngasih hadiah teropong ke grey. teropong itu ceritanya barang kesukaannya grey*
grey: *dengan wajah sumringah, yang biasanya mukanya ketekuk terus* kamu mau aku ganti dengan apa?
neyna: gak mau diganti
grey: *dengan nada seharusnya semua orang udah tau* semua orang ada maunya. kamu apa?
neyna: *sambil ngeloyor pergi* gak mau diganti

scene 3
grey: belom banyak pelanggan?
bokap grey: *baru jadi penjahit ceritanya* ya biasalah awal2nya kan perlu kerja keras dulu. konsep yang sederhana ya? padahal ayah butuh waktu 8 tahun untuk bisa mengerti itu. kadang2 yang kita anggap gampang itu malah yang paling susah

scene 4
grey: mau adu makan mangga lagi
bokap grey: nggak ah, ayah ngaku kalah aja deh. kalaupun menang perut malah sakit. jadi buat apa menang?

at least those dialogues made me smile (baca: sedikit menohok hati hehe). additionally it is a musical movie which composed by a lot of songs and dances. the songs and dances were also good. afterall it is quite worthed to watch while you're having lunch or dinner alone.
